100 WORDS: the music in me

I had this song inside of me. I sang it only to myself, hidden and hushed underneath. I had this song that went unheard… until you carried it out of me. You gave my spirit wings and taught me how to soar. My song was sung so beautifully, a tune I could not ignore. I fell into the rhythm, tumbled into the words… settled among the beauty you put into the verse. This was the song I had forgotten; the melody and tune lost amongst the sea. This was the song you saw inside, and sang right back to me.
